גרמניה: כת הסיינטולוגיה מנוגדת לחוקה

הסיינטולוגיה מעולם לא היתה מוכרת כדת רשמית בגרמניה, אולם כעת מנסים במשרד הפנים הגרמני לפעול נגדה באמצעים חדשים. 16 שרי הפנים במחוזות גרמניה, בראשותו של שר הפנים הפדרלי וולפגנג שוובל, הכריזו על הכת כמנוגדת לחוקה הגרמנית, בצעד שיכול להביא להוצאתה אל מחוץ לחוק

משרד הפנים הגרמני הכריז היום (ו') כי הכנסייה הסיינטולוגית מנוגדת לחוקה הגרמנית. ההכרזה מאפשרת לרשויות בגרמניה להחרים ולהוציא אל מחוץ לחוק את ארגון הסיינטולוגיה, אם יחפצו בכך בעתיד.

שר הפנים הפדרלי של גרמניה, וולפגנג שוובל, יחד עם 16 שרי הפנים של מחוזות שבתוך גרמניה, החליטו כי "הסיינטולוגיה אינה ארגון שעומד בקנה אחד עם החוקה". הסיינטולוגיה אינה רשומה כדת בגרמניה והרשויות רואות כת המתנהגת ככנסייה למטרות של רווח כספי. המאמינים כמובן, דוחים את ההשקפה הזו.

הכנסייה הסיינטולוגית יכולה לפעול בגרמניה כארגון, ובחודש ינואר השנה אף נפתח בברלין מטה הארגון במדינה בבניין מפואר בן שש קומות. מוקדם יותר השבוע, נפתח בברלין גם מרכז רשמי שיעסוק בתלונות נגד הסיינטולוגיה.

שר הפנים של מחוז ברלין, ארהרט קרטינג, אמר כי על המודיעין הגרמני להמשיך ולאסוף מידע אודות החוקיות של הפעילות הסיינטולוגית כדי שבשנה הבאה יוכלו הרשויות להחליט על מדיניות בעניין.

בתחילת השנה הודיע משרד הביטחון בגרמניה כי יאסור צילומי סרט על ניסיון התנקשות כושל באדולף היטלר בבסיסים צבאיים, משום שהשחקן הראשי בו היה טום קרוז, סיינטולוג ידוע. לאחר פרסום עמדת משרד הביטחון, התעקשה הממשלה שהאיסור על צילומים בבסיסי הצבא לא היה קשור כלל לאמונה הדתית של קרוז, והתיר לו לצלם במתחם ביטחוני.
